Valentine's Ball

For Valentine's Day I received these beautiful flowers...
very thoughtful for my husband.
I feel like I'm in high school all over again since I get so excited to go to this ball. I think it's the dancing that I get so excited about.

We had fun meeting up with our friends from dental school! Any kind of a night out on the town and being served a good meal sounds like a good time to me!
We had a ton of fun.

Suprise visit from my brother

While my mom was visiting, my brother called one morning and said he was flying in that night! It was a great suprise, and we had a fun time showing him around Indy. We got a sitter on my mom's last day and went out to lunch at Cheesecake Factory and then went and saw Valentine's Day on opening day.
Thanks mom, for coming to visit us! We had so much fun the whole week shopping, going to see movies (Dear John), eating out and working out! Hope you can come again soon.

Indianapolis Capital Building
Scot wanted to see downtown, so while Ella was at Joyschool (and Cole taking a nap there) we took him to authentic Mexican cuisine at Guanajuatos, took a tour around Scott's dental school, and then him and I went downtown to explore.

This is the Civil War Monument downtown. It's incircled in this round-a-bout with shops all around and lights on the trees. We had to get some hot cocoa to warm up as we were walking around it was so cold!

can you find me in this picture above?

We also went in the downtown mall for a while, just for kicks. Thanks bro for coming to Indy. We had a lot of fun hanging out! Please come again soon!

Weekend in Nashville, IN with Nanna

We took my mom to Nashville, Indiana to see Brown County State Park and stay at the Abe Martin Lodge with the indoor waterpark area. the drive through the state park was beautiful

The town of Nashville is so cute with all these little shops. Although it was too cold to walk around and shop, we had to take my mom to this cute little restaurant.

back in the hotel room getting suits on for the pool

We had so much fun, and the kids did too! Cole loved playing with this oversized beach ball, even though it was too big for him to carry.

Ella was too chicken to go down the tube slide...
So they spent most of the time going around the moving river with daddy
Thanks Nashville, we will for sure come again!

Thanks Kassie!

Scott's sister Kassie made us a whole new bed set for Christmas this year, since she knew how long I have been searching for one. She made the duvet cover, pillow shams and bed skirt. She mailed it to us in January, and then it took me a few weeks to find throw pillows to match it. We could tell it was a lot of hard work, and we appreciate your thoughtfulness! Thanks so much, we love it!

He Shoots... He Scores!

For Christmas we got Cole this Little Tikes Basketball hoop, and he loves it. He screams every time he puts the ball in the hoop... just watch.

Sibling Fun Time

Ella loves her brother! Ella actually took this pic, not bad girl!
I think Cole looks SO much like Scott did as a kid in this pic below.

bath time fun

Cole's hair right before a haircut (I cut his hair in bathtub, less mess)

Movie Night with popcorn!
