{Brock turns 1}

 So it happenned, I knew it would but never thought it would come so fast.... Brocky turned one! I made him a HUGE CUPCAKE chocolate cake for his first. Brock is the sweetest, cutest, happiest chunky boy! We all love him to death.

A couple weekends ago he took his first step, and is pretty consistent about taking 3-5 steps at a time. It's the cutest thing! He's such a big boy now!

Ella helped him blow out his candle... he just stared at it for a while.

Both Ella and Cole on their first birthday barely even touched their cake.... but Brock LOVED his cake. I think we've been introducing the sweets a bit early for him, so he was used to desserts.

 Nana and Papa sent him his birthday package a week ago filled with candy, warm fleece jammies and a halloween costume.  Gpa and Gma sent him a Leap Frog stuffed bear and costume as well. We got him this Green Lantern automatic car.  He loves all his gifts, thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and love for this babe of our's!!

2nd Annual Salmon Fishing Trip, MI

Scott LOVES to go fishing, especially when the fishing is good. He had such a great time last year (see here) that he insisted on going again. All his school buddies went at different times this year, so he met his dad and friend from our Indy Stake, Isaac Brewer.  I guess it wasn't the best fishing, the ranger guide told them it was the slowest it had been in 6 years.

Pictures in the Paper

 The reporters were at the Greenwood Library this past early spring and my kids made it in the picutres...funny, they just came out now!  We absolutely loved going to storytime at the Greenwood Library, felt like preschool where we dropped off our kids to the preschool storytime, taught by an amazing Miss Sue a former teacher.  And then the bells would ring and a message over the intercom would inform us parents it was time to pick up your children from storytime.  It was a wonderful time where us, mothers, had a chance to chat and visit! Above, Ella was here with her best friend Adrienne, who she misses and now writes letters to often.

After storytime, my kids would either play in the toy area, play educational games on the computers, or grab books for me to read to them.  Cole loves to be read to, thus doing here. I think it's important to read to your children. Plus, it's a good bonding time :)
