Ella's 1st Princess Haircut

Ella will be turning 4 next month, and I figured she was over-due for a haircut! It's just taken me this long to say goodbye to her blonde baby curls at the ends. She was very shy through the whole thing, probably since she's never seen me get my hair done

(I go alone!).My friend Alene created her own salon in one of the rooms in her house, it's so cute. She was really good with Ella, making her feel at ease the whole time.
Alene got her all this princess stuff: tiara, earings, necklace, wand, bubles, candy and more! Thanks Alene you made her feel special, and it looks great!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day Scott! I tried my best to pamper and spoil this man today. When we got home from church I made his favorite breakfast: biscuits and gravy, and then for dinner we had these yummy trip tip steaks and for dessert I made him his favorite chocolate cake with added heathbar peices on top. Scott is truly a man if you love him, you show him by feeding him well. He opened his presents after lunch and he got a smoker for the grill, a salad cookbook, and two family home DVD's that I just had converted from the little 8mm casettes. We spent the afternoon watching Ella as a little baby, so fun. Thanks for being an amazing father to the children! They love you so much and enjoy all the fun times they get to spend with you!

He eats lotion

Cole's favorite thing about after his bath is putting on lotion, as well as eating the lotion. I don't know why he would think it's good to eat, but he makes the "hhmmm" sound after he puts some in his mouth.One day after his bath, we (meaning Scott) left the tub of lotion out with the lid off. The next thing we know we have this little guy covered in lotion! His cheecks were softer than ever that day!

He even got soap in his eyes during his bath, plus the lotion... his eyes got so red and swollen, we had to do visine drops to help the poor little guy out.

Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana

When Scott flew back into Indy from Philly, we picked him up at the airport and then went straight to Santa Claus, Indiana... home of Holiday World and Splashin' Safari. There were TONS of rides for the kids, it was awesome. Ella loved every minute of it, Cole didn't really know what to think of it. They were basically his first rides ever in a theme park, besides ones at the mall where you put a quarter in. He never really showed any emotion, so at least he wasn't crying!

Hi-Five!!

We forgot our stroller, so we rented a wagon, worked out great for Cole to take his nap in later on. We locked all our valuables in a locker when we went to the Splashin' Safari side, and never wanted to stop the water slides and wave pools to get the camera. But we will FOR SURE go again next year, so we'll have to take some then!

Then we had to stop at Santa's Candy Castle, where they had gormet candy canes, books, all sorts of different kind of candy and souveniors, and FROZEN HOT COCOA! It was amazingly delicious and refreshing!

Thanks Santa Claus, Indiana... we will visit you again next summer!

Memorial Weekend in Philadelphia

Literaly the hour after Scott was done with his finals, he was heading to the airport to visit his brother Ryan. He was so excited... To get his first authentic Philly Cheesesteak,
walk around the ghetto with his brother selling security systems,

And go to the beach in Delaware to try surfing for the first time ever!

Hot Humid Days

When the weather is unbearably humid outside, I let them play in the sprinklers.
