Besides living too far from family, this is why we are NOT living in Indiana.
We were literally snowed in, there's about a foot up on our porch step. If we opened our sliding glass door the snow would come crashing in! You can see it was more than a foot high on the bbq.
Our neighborhood... see any roads? Nope, they're all burried.

Oh my heavens that is a lot of snow. I know you love it you California girl. Seriously, I think I'd go nuts with that much snow and being literally "snowed in."
