Watch Ella at dance class! She took Intro to Dance at the YMCA we belong to, and I guess I can't complain too much for a 7-week class it was just under $25, even though she didn't learn much. But she loved it, and I guess that's all that matters.
Ella made a friend Hallie (we're friends with her parents through dental school) and they posed for a picture. They were cute seeing them dance around... and not paying attention most of the time.
To be honest, the dance class was kind of a joke, no real dance techniques were taught. It was Intro to Dance, not ballet as I thought. She was one of the youngest in the group and her ability to pay attention for a 45 min. dance class was hard for her. But she did have fun dancing around the majority of the time, I guess that is what's most important. In the fall I think I'll have to put her in a real ballet class, though.

So cute, love it!!! You have to remember what we learned when we were three, we played ring around the rosie and such, and the hippo dance, it's good for her and it looks like she loves it!!! Worry about the techniques later, but I understand where you are coming from, especially being a dancer and all!!!
That is so cute! We dont' have any kind of ballet classes here in Montpelier and I think it's sad!! Ballet is a part of growing up!
too bad you don't live in california and she can be in mom's class free, way more legit!
You know, I'm pretty sure you have some dance skills you could show her... my mom tried to teach us piano though and it did NOT work.
