Why is it that every child under the age of two is deathly afraid of Santa? I mean you sit on his lap and tell him what you want for Christmas and he gives you a candy cane! What can be so scary about that? Well, Ella will have to tell me later, because she was not happy about sitting on his lap at our Thompson Family Christmas party.

Looks like a great Christmas! Isn't it so much fun to watch the kids? We had a great time with Dylan this year! Loved the PJ's Jamie!
It looks like you guys had an awesome trip. Personally I have to say that I love the lights post about Christmas Eve. We are excited that you guys are back in town. Every time we tell Katie we are going bye bye she runs to the door and says ella ella...it is pretty funny. We'll see you at church on Sunday!
Jaime! I got your Christmas card but the one that I sent you got sent back to us. I didn't know that you guys moved so I sent it to the one that I sent our wedding invite to. So sorry! We just got back so I didn't know that you didn't get it until now. I'm going to send it again though... so expect it soon! Love ya!
Kids and Santa are so funny. Of course it's kind of ironic. The rest of the year we tell our kids to be wary of strangers and to never accept candy from one. But at Christmas time- we parents pick the scariest, hariest looking man we can find, put the kid on his lap while the stranger starts "Ho Ho Hoing." Ty didn't want anything to do with the white-bearded stranger and I had to kind of trick him to even get him to have a picture with him. I'm glad you had a Merry Christmas!
Jamie,
I use Adobe Photoshop. I love it. You can do anything in it.
Poor little Ella. If you think about it, Santa is so scary for little kids. But it could probably be Mr. Rogers and kids would cry to sit in his lap. Then again, Mr. Rogers is kind of creepy. It's a lose-lose situation.
