Butterfly Experience

Ella found this green caterpillar one day when she was hanging outside with her daddy, and so they had an idea to keep the catepillar and watch it turn into a catepillar. The very next day after we put it in a jar, it turned into a cocoon, and then about 2 weeks later we had a beautiful butterfly!

Ella would ask me everyday if it turned into a butterfly yet. I used this as one of our "science experiments" with Joyschool, even though the kids didn't get to see the butterfly. Watch the video of Ella releasing it! She was sad and disappointed to see it fly away, she wanted to hold it on her finger.

I'll have to watch the video of Ella when I get home. Our ghetto computers at work are too slow to watch videos. That is such a cute idea. Scott is such a good dad!

Oh my, what an amazing thing to happen. I still to this day have never seen this happen, I'm a little jealous. She'll remember that forever~~~
