September Outings

September has been in full swing of activities and weekend adventures. First state of business, all the kids needed dental appointments before going back to school. The oldest two both had cavities... very degrading to their daddy the dentist. Then Brock allowed them to clean his teeth for the first time, he did great!
For Labor Day, we took the kids to the zoo, hadn't been to the Boise Zoo for quite some time. My kids were spoiled by living in big cities where there were dolphin shows at the Indy Zoo... but still we enjoyed this time together.
Scott flew to Houston, TX to meet up with some friends from Indy to go Hog Hunting.... but details of the hunt weren't gathered beforehand, and it wasn't what Scott thought, so they took a chartered deep sea boat out and caught a few. Even one had teeth like humans (check out bottom right hand corner)!!!
Scott is always on for a camping or fishing trip with the kids... since I've been pretty sick the last couple months he's taken one, two or all of them for the night. In the pictures above, was the first time he took all 3 by himself. It rained and so he got one of their cabins, but there was a hot springs swimming pool, the kids were in heaven!  Below, he went on a few scout camp-outs and usually took Cole.
Canning season has begun, we did pickles this year, something new we hadn't canned before. And we juiced our plums from our two trees.  Still have the grapes to juice now!
