Elder Pace Comes Home

My whole family (minus my husband Scott) went home to California to see my brother get home from serving a mission in Singapore. We left our kids home with a babysitter so we could enjoy seeing him at the Sacramento Airport and then out to a nice welcome home dinner.
We told him he was scruffy, probably from being on a plane for a total of 22 hours!

It was wierd seeing him the first time in 2 years. He was so skinny, he lost like 20 pounds. He said he only ate one meal a day in Malaysia. We were a little emotional when we were waiting for him to come down the escalator... we even had a false alarm and thought somebody else was him and we all balled. We sure missed him.
Job well done, bro!
His suit coat looked brand new. He never wore it once during the misson. He checked it in at the mission home when he got there and then got it back before he left. He wasn't allowed to wear his name badge at all either.

GOING PRIVATE

I've been considering doing this for a while now, because of all the work it takes to do so, but some scary stuff has come up lately, so I will be going officially private in 2 weeks. PLEASE LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS AS A COMMENT SO I CAN INVITE YOU. Please don't be shy, all friends, blog buddies and associations welcome.

Yellow Shirt Day

Is this really how he feels with all these kisses?
Can't help it!

Ella took the ones of Cole and I. Not bad.

Loving each other

Ella insisted on wearing her yellow shirt since both Cole and I were.

Big Girl Bike

We got Ella a bike for her 3rd birthday, and she has yet to master the pedals. We end up pushing her and she just sits there not pedaling... guess everything takes time.

Happy Birthday Ella!

Ella turns 3 years old today, I can't believe it! We had a party for her on Saturday. We had the whole thing planned to do a pool party, but we woke up to a thunder/lightning storm, so we were forced to do it at our house. I didn't want to cancel it because I actually made her ice cream cone cake the day before. Here is our kitchen all ready for guests.

Happy Birthday song! Watch the video!

Is it present time already? It was hard to get all six girls together and happy at once.

Ella had lots of fun with her friends. Thanks everyone for coming to make her birthday a fun experience.

Cole is Crawling

The week we got back from our vacation Cole decided to start crawling... fun times.

Pismo Beach, CA

Scott got a 2nd degree sunburn on his back the day before, so he was just throwing a football with my mom the day at the beach for the reunion.

Ella also got a blister on her nose from a sunburn the day before and the blister popped... thus the band-aid nose picture.

Cole loved playing in the sand... yet most of it went into his mouth

Park City Cabin

Ella and Brynlee became best friends again. They played together, swam together, even fell asleep together in the same bed.

matching jammies

We went on just about a million walks on this path near the cabin. The kids loved it.
